I Dont Know How To Take The Steering Wheel Colum Off?

once you get the wheel off i know your gonna have to rent a special tool to get the lock ring off or plate whatever its called that sits behind the wheel they rent them at autozone

You normally do not have to remove the steering wheel to get the column out.

DO NOT have to remove steering wheel.

Theres one bolt under the hood towards where the column connects to the steering box.

Theres two that go straight up under the dash that hold it in place,then just unhook all the electrical connectors to it and I THINK thats it. If theres any more,they go from the column into the firewall,but its been a while and I cant remember.

Yep, did this yesterday. One under the hood on the shaft, two right behind the dash, and 3 on the firewall.
