I just found a 89 iroc for my friend.
got it to my house and runs great but.
I shut it off and it would not start back up.
so here is the deal it's got a TB unit on it and it was not spraying any gas.
so drop some gas down the intake and bam starts right up.
it runs great and then it won't run no gas spraying.
I'm thinking it's the fuel pump or the relay or the filter.
o and the check engine light just came on tonight have to see what code was set goes on and off.

any body else have this problem?

hotwire the ALDL connector and see what the code is for.

odds are it's you fuel pump fuse...easy to check. when you turn the car to "on" but not start...you should hear the pump prime...if you don't...well...go from there
