Yes, the stock air cleaner will fit a non-computer controlled QJet just like it fits on the stock computer controlled QJet 4bbl.

A popular upgrade if you have the restrictive single-snorkel air cleaner assy. is to simply use a 14x3 drop-base open element air cleaner like you can buy from Summit or any speed shop.

But with an open element, you are still getting hot air into the car. It doesn't do that good for performance, unless you have a huge cowl hood where cold air can make it directly there. The single snorkel is restrictive, but by far the best is the 5.0 HO air cleaner. Mine helps alot at the track, and I get better all around power with it. The cold air helps alot.
