My 13yr old springs in the RS with 145k...how much of a drop do you think the car has seen since it was new?

My reason for asking--I'm going to get new springs/shocks next year and want to know if I can buy a Pro-Kit (~1" drop) but not lose any ground clearance compared to what I'm at now. Thanks

u will loose a good deal of hight i put the pro kit on my 89 and it droped it alot prob the 1" but it rides great

 

Crap...my T56 crossmember scrapes on speed bumps and such, so I really can't afford any more ground clearance.

how bad are ur shocks and what size rims and tires are u using i went with the koni adjs and with them stiff the car doesnt bounce unless i hit my k member

 

Front struts are 1yr old, who knows about the rears. 16" wheels with 245/50/16 rubber.

 

i think i have a newer set of stock springs if u want them u can get them when ur up here and if i ever get my clutch figured out u can see how low the car will sit if u go with the pro kit

 

What are they out of and how many miles? I'd love to see your car. If I can get my mom to let me take out her eclipse (I'm 16 and she doesn't trust me...) then maybe we can meet up somewhere.

 

i think i have a set from my 92 parts car will have to check i know i have a set from a 94 but they might be different
