1.6 roller rockers, is this a good buy
Re: 1.6 roller rockers, is this a good buy
Those are made by CAT (California Auto Trans). You won't be getting a bad product as long as they are brand new. CAT is known for making cheaper priced products, but the durability is up in the air.
You have to be very careful of rocker arms on EBay, many times you will get a mismatched or very abused set.
I snagged the ones for Heathers LT-1 swap for 108 after shipping. They had never even been installed. Just gotta look for the cheap deals. Also, I look last at items that have no "real" picture. I'm sure that ones was pulled from a website somewhere. You may want to email them and ask if they have a pic of the actual product.

rr are a good buy, added lift and decreased friction in the valve train. you will probably need new springs though, which could add to the cost.
most dyno info i've seen fro them is 15hp at the wheels

Has anyone done the install of 1.6 on the intake side, and 1.5 on the exhaust side? The TPIS Insider Hints book claims that there is no benefit to running a 1.6 on the exhaust side, and that it will only hurt the idle quality a little bit. I'm unsure if I should go with 1.6/1.6 or 1.6/1.5.
