Not surprising. The 98 LS1 F Body was up 3-5% in rwhp over the 97-98 Y body as delivered. At the time we all attributed it to packaging mainly in the oil pan area allowing less internal friction for the F Body oil pan. Whatever the reason it was a nice add.
