I have a 2010 LT2 and my son has a 2011 2SS, both with the stock 20" polished aluminum wheels. I was looking at my son's car and noticed what appears to be a very fine stress crack at the valve stem opening with a length of about 3/4 of an inch. I checked my car and I have a wheel with a similar crack about 1/2 inch long. I will be bringing my car to the dealer, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen? I did not see any threads about this being an issue.

 

Haven't heard of this being a common issue...but on both of your cars? Definitely head to the dealership.

it's in your head, dont worry about stupid crap like that. they're probably just scratches from using tools to add air to the tires or scratches from something else.
