Stainless braided brake line install

I installed 3 of 4 of my new brake lines on Monday without a hitch. The front left was not so easy. The male fitting on the steel line on the car would not thread into either of the new front lines. The bolt from the caliper end would thread in just fine. I finally gave up and had my dealer do it while getting tires mounted. They tried a while bag of fittings. Everything would thread onto the male and into the female but they would not go together. He finally ran a pipe thread die onto the male fitting to get it started. Buddy had the same hard time. Left front. Anyone else and if so what was your fix?

Re: Stainless braided brake line install

Yes they were both from MTIracing. It seemed to be the fitting on the car since both lines threaded onto the right. The fact that other fittings threaded on fine to both the car and new line is very odd
