Register to get Introductory Pricing on Pedders eXtreme Xa Coil over

Pedders is probably going to have an introductory special price on our eXtreme Xa coil over sets. Initial prices will be outstanding. Why are we doing i? We already know this coil over set is off the charts. We have been beta testing a set for a month or so. Off the carts handling, with comfort. We will be offering 3 different coil sets, depending on your goals for driving. From road racing and auto crossing, to aggressive street play and running the canyons! These coil overs are waaaaayyyyyyyy beyond anything on the market. They are a Monotube design, with 30 way detent adjustability, and you will be able to adjust ride height and not change your spring ratings! This is a reallllly big deal for balance.

We will dominate the Camaro market way beyond what we dominate the G8 and GTO markets. So we will most likely offer an introductory pricing for a limited amount of Camaros. For this price, we will only expect a true and accurate posting of your handling with these units. YOU MUST POST YOUR REVIEWS AND BE HONEST. How do we know they will be off the charts? We have already done the beta testing on a Track II G8 running near 500 rear horsepower on Pete's G8. There is little difference between the Camaro and the G8. Those components that are different, we already know about them.

So if you are interested, when the pricing is announced, they will be posted first on this thread. So make a post on this thread so you will get notification with the coil over orders and pricing will take place. I do not think we will be able to handle all orders and am, to be really honest, not sure how many we will have available for the Camaro. So make a post and be prepared to respond ASAP.

If any of you are in the SF Bay area, I will make a great offer to you on doing a eXtreme TrackII system. We will use your Camaro as our verification Camaro. This literally will be the cheapest eXtreme TrackII in the country. So make your posts so we know who you are.

thanks to all. We are really excited to blow the doors off of all competition, and make you smile!!

thanks
mike

I simply cannot wait until the new Camaro is on the lots so people can see things like this and get excited. This is a very cool system, I was talking to the Pedders USA owner at SEMA and he was telling me how awesome it is and how he can't wait to get it to you new Camaro owners.

You should contact Pete. He is down in the Detroit area all the time. Diving his G8 will be a rear kick! You will be able to feel how the Camaro will drive.

I already took a spin in it last October when he was at my event. Talk about addictive boost! I don't think he had the new stuff on it at the time, I'll see if I can give him a buzz.

It is different now with the eXtremeXA coil overs. It is set up more aggressive with better comfort if you can believe it!
thanks

Jason,

Those were the OLD eXtremes and they were really good. The new eXtreme Xa coilovers are ridiculously good. I currently have the only functional set of ZETA Xa Coilovers. The rest were destroyed in the validation process. We started on the eXtreme Xa product line a little more than two years ago. It has been a long road to bring these to market. The clevis plates are steel for strength and 100% OE clip compatible. The OE ABS and brake line clips fit into place just like on an OE component. at setting #8 we are at Pedders GSR damping. Lower can be softer than OE at Zero. At 30 we are in R compound track tight. We wanted to make certain that the damping adjustment was bullet proof. The biggest issue with adjustable damping is that it can be frustrating to the end user to get them to the exact same settings. Our Xa line has 30 positive click adjustments. They are bullet proof to set -- if you can count to 30.

Turn them down to full soft and count the number of clicks up. Hmmm was that click 14 or 15? No worries mate -- zero it down and count again. It takes all of maybe 30 seconds a coilover?

Ride height change is accomplished by screwing the entire tube into the lower mounting. My G8 has been dropped from 660mm all around to 615 front and 585mm rear. With damping set at 8, the lowered ride is a comfortable as OE. set to 14 or 15 it would drive very close to your experience with our old eXtremes. With the damping set to 21 front and 19 rear, the ZETA G8 feels like a taut string. It is tight -- very tight -- and controlled beyond belief. set to 30 it would be ready for R compound tires and a race track.

Our R & D people insist you can feel the difference between each click. Starting from baseline at zero and moving up one click I cannot feel the difference. I can absolutely feel the difference with two clicks between zero and 15. At 15 or higher I can feel the difference between each click.

When do you get your 2010?

Man this is giving me a stiffie, I don't think I will be an "early enough adopter" for any testing here in L.A.
Thank you for the great info!

I have to get in on this thread, just in case something crazy happens and I somehow manage to become one of the early buyers of a 2010 Camaro. This suspension sounds awesome!

Why Not?

Every other forums and vehicle we support is covered by the December Dollar Days SALE so why not the Camaro that isn't released???? We debated about this for a while and decided to go ahead and roll it out -- the new Pedders eXtreme Xa Coilovers for the 5th Gen 2010 Camaro. Our Camaro Xa coilovers will be available in April compared to the other vehicles phasing in as early as the end of this month. So for the real hard core I have to be first to have these on my Camaro....

Pedders December Dollar Days End of Year SALE!
https://secure.merlinsoftware.com.au/peddersusa/

With the weakness of some foreign currencies, the strength of our dollar and increase on volume Pedders USA, LLC is able to offer incredible December Dollar Days SAVINGS through December 25, 2009 12:01 AM. Virtually the entire Pedders range is on Sale!!!

eXtreme Xa Coilover Pre-Order Savings
eXtreme Xa Adjustable Coilover Suspension - Pedders Sports Ryder Extreme Xa Coilovers - Pedders Suspension

These are state-of-the-art 46mm high pressure monotube that adjust for height by screwing the tube into the clevis / lower mount. This method of height adjustment does not alter the spring pre-load. Adjustable damping can be a real problem when the method of adjustment is not precise. Pedders Xa Coilover damping has 30 positive click adjustments. This is fixed ratio bound and rebound with Pedders GSR valving between positions 8 and 12. You have the ability to soften the damping to Comfort Gas or even OE or raise it to R compound firm. With the expanded damping range built in Pedders will offer a range of coils: Street, Sport and Race. The Pre-Order units will be fitted with Sport Coils. Our Xa line is for the enthusiast and will sit approximately 15mm lower in front at maximum high and 20mm lower in the rear adjusted to maximum height. Pedders will be expanding our Xa range to include the Chrysler LX range as well as Asian and German models that are not listed. New fitments will be posted as they become available.

Pillow Ball Bearings

and Camber Plates

are available with your Xa pre-order. Pillow Ball Mounts and Camber Plates are in development for the Camaro, GTO and G8 along with additional vehicles. All Fitments are posted on our website.

Xa products will deliver in late February or early March 2009 with the Camaro in April.
Please note that a 15% deposit is required upon order to lock in these prices.

Um...uh....

Pete, these look better than how you described them to me. I have a buddy with a G8, and he says that the G8 guys are extremely happy with Pedders stuff and it doesn't end with those guys.

Is the total height adjustment determined yet? Like...how much of a drop is possible total?

does anyone know if this kit will have a bad camber after being installed. i know on the 4th gen after lowering there wasnt an issue. but will there be an issue with the 5th gen? im just wondering if there is going to be any more involved in making this road ready. im planning on having mine installed by his certified installers but i was just curious.
