Can anyone tell me what to do about the oscilation problems that are present in the 2010 SS Camaro's while driving at low speed. I think the problem stems from the function that tells the engine to run on 4,6,or8 cylinders?
I'm not aware of any oscillation problems with the 2010 SS, AFM-related or otherwise. Can you describe the oscillation in more detail?
My auto does vary the rpm slightly when it goes into 4 cylinder mode. The camaro is not as seamless as other AFM vehicles I have driven, probably do to the immense power. It is much more noticeable with an aftermarket exhaust, you can actually hear the change in engine tone. You would think something was wrong if you did not know the vehicle was supposed to do it. My guess is this is why they made the stock exhaust soooo quiet.
