I am doing a custom pain job on my factory airbox, and I noticed that before I painted it, there was a little wear mark on the top of it. Upon closer inspection, it looks like the hood is rubbing on it. I laid one of those blue disposable shop towels on the airbox and closed the hood and tried to pull out the paper towel out and it wouldn't move, telling it is is being pinched between the hoodliner and the airbox. It also looks like there is a faint dent in the hoodliner...but you really have to look closely.

I adjusted the 4 rubber stops as much as I could but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Anyone else experience this?
