Diablosport - Predator

Has anyone here used the Diablosport Predator to tune their car? If so is it easy to use and can you do as good of a job as a tuner? Was at a local speed shop and that what they were recommending. Thanks

They are decent for a plug and play type of situation. Getting a dyno tune is the best way to go, IMO...but if you don't have access to that, Diablo isn't bad.

Diablosport would be better than tuning on a dyno.

With a netbook or laptop, you can use your Diablosport tuner to datalog over 250+parameters whereas with the tuner alone you can only download 1 datalog at a time and only a few parameters efficiently at once.

With a datalog, you're providing the car with a true load and taking the environment into consideration (this was important when I tuned my boosted PT cruiser on meth injection).

Yeah, I had a PT that easily walked all over LT1's (with only bolt-ons).

LT1 had bolt-ons.

Still, rear-wheel drive > front-wheel drive which is why I picked up my LS1 WS6.

No worries!

Some forums are notorious for that (gotta have thick skin!) and some aren't, wasn't sure about this one

I DID go from the PT to an LT1 Z28 though..but I'm loving my new-found LS1
