I have an invoice for a 2SS RS 6 speed manul transmission in my hand and the shipping weight is 3795 lbs. The same car with the addition of the automatic transmission and a sunroof weights 3819 lbs. Both cars will have 2 gallons of gas in them. The shipping weight has to be correct because of the weight restrictions on the transport trucks that haul these cars across conutry from state to state. The ICC monitors the weight of these trucks at numerous scales across the country.
