In a month or two I will be ordering a 2013 1le SS. Iv heard several things about the dual mode and so far am not sold on it. Is it just the butterfly valves with the bypass on the muffler or is there more to it? Which Chevy wants $900 for this package and I get get the SLP with deletes around $700

On the other hand I was found to run SLP 4" kit with Miffler deletes.

I currently have the LM1 from SLP on my 35th SS. Some people complain about the drone and that it is too loud. But I love the times they give.

 

Do a YouTube search for video of dual mode exhaust. It sounds amazing. I plan on going that route when I order my 2014 1LE later this year.

 

i have to get mine ordred pretty quick they stop taking orders for '13 in July. and to each is own, but i dont want to be stuck getting a '14. personally feel like they lost alot of the intimidating look, they tried to make them look too asthetic/futuristic. tailight bars=nice addition but different, but the front facia looks like someone pushed the "sharpen" button on Photoshop

iv watched vids of all the types i was looking into, and while audio clips never do a system justice. everyone knows, its BORLA. you can never go wrong with all stainless construction, and the R&D that goes into the tuning of their pipes/bends/lengths/mufflers. I think this is a great choice.
