ZL1 continued?

Sorry if this has been addressed already, but does anyone know if the ZL1 will be continued? or is it being axed due to the Z/28 return?

Indeed,

The ZL1 will be offered as the Z/28 release inches closer. Are you thinking about getting a 2014?

Yes, was thinking about getting 2014 ZL1 Convertible. 6 speed manual. Will it really keep the 2013 front end?

Huh? One of the dealers out here already has a 2014 ZL1 in inventory.

Sweet. Guess I can live with the older front end.

Re: ZL1 continued?

A lot of engineering went into the front end of the ZL1 to make it functional. That is the reason why they didn't change it for '14.

Sorry for the confusion!

I didn't mean for it to sound as though dealers do not currently have ZL1s. I was moreso saying that the ZL1 will definitely be offered as the Z/28 approaches.

My apologies again,

Yea, they would have had to scrap the whole front and go to the new one. No more heat extractors or custom fascia.

No, they would have to engineer the new front end for the air flow the ZL1 requires.
