Z28, RS, SS, IROC, Berlintena(sp), Yenko??????
Re: Z28, RS, SS, IROC, Berlintena(sp), Yenko??????
Berlinetta? Seriously? Who would want to see that return? Hey, might as well bring back Type LT while we're at it. There won't be an IROC because, well Camaros aren't running IROC races anymore and haven't been for like 20 years. Is Yenko even in business anymore?
You might see the RS/SS/Z28, but all the others you mentioned are dead, at least one wasn't even a factory designation.

As the owner of an Iroc, I think a lot of people still see them as redneck. Yeah, there are a handful of people who think they were cool. But with the most upscale appearence they are looking for in the 5th gen I doubt we will see a new Iroc for a couple of decades.
Re: Z28, RS, SS, IROC, Berlintena(sp), Yenko??????
Well in theory GM could call it an IROC, after all the Trans Am originally couldnt compete in Trans AM racing because the 400 V-8 was way past the 5.0L limit
Re: Z28, RS, SS, IROC, Berlintena(sp), Yenko??????
There WON'T be an IROC Camaro again because of the huge licensing fees that had to be paid to use the name. The same with the Trans Am name. Z28 and SS are almost guaranteed models and it would make sense to bring back the RS for the V6 models. I don't see SC being used since most people have no idea what it stands for.
