Will the M6 have skip shift?

Will the M6 have skip shift or some other gear selecting feature?

According to the articles I have read, it does have this feature.

Hopefully it's the same spec resistor to disable it. I've still got a few left over from the package of 5 I had to buy to get 1 in order to go !CAGS on my 99

Yes, it has CAGS (Computer Assisted Gear Selection), same as the 4th-gens had . Annoying, but not that hard to work around . I'm sure the resistor is the same thing as it used to be!

It even flashes a fancy 1->4 skip-shift "picture" into the message center when you're starting to hit the right speed in 1st gear .

I've seen a skip shift eliminator that some of the LS3 vette guys are using for around $15. Just plugs in to the harness.

I've got two packs. i bought one pack for my SS then when i bought my Z i bought another pack because i couldn't find the first ones. then i got home from buying the second pack and found the first...needless to say i wouldn't mind using one up on a new SS
