Will the Camaro be E85 compatible?

Will the Camaro be E85 compatible?
I'm sorry, I know this has been discussed before, but I was wondering if anyone has any new thoughts or insight into the subject. How about gas mileage, especially compared to the Mustang V6 and GT? I also hear that they're coming out with some sort of 'clean diesel' very soon. I can't see a Camaro with that, but who knows?
I think a fuel efficient Camaro could come close to changing some people's idea of what a Camaro is. I've also heard conflicting reports on the mpg of the 4th gens, so I don't know much about how they really did.
I know there are a lot of High Horse Power junkies in here, and I appreciate that. My truck has a V8 with a rumble that I highly appreciate. However, with the focus shining more on our reliability to oil from other countries, I'm getting more and more fixated on changing that, asap. Maybe just a dream, I guess.

i second that

And regardless of one's opinion on environmental and oil dependency issues, the "Green Kudos Points" that would go with having an E85 slurping musclecar (the first even?) are surely valuable - at the very least from a marketing standpoint?

They did the same thing when they swapped everything over from Reg Leaded to Unleaded in the 80s They just offered the aftermarket stuff.
THere could be a good chance that you will see the after market stuff coming out in the next year or so to start swapping things out

Edit: ok my bad... it is about 25% less but gives you more torque and horse power. And you can mix both so if you run a mixture of pure gas or e85 then you get something in between.
I still would run E85 if i could... better for the enviroment and more horsepower + torque!

However the great thing about it is that it can be a homegrown fuel source and if it goes mainstream with most people using it (and with more plants producing it) the price of E85 should go down considerably. I believe that if we can get the whole country using E85 as their main fuel source for their transportation, that should cut into our foreign oil dependance quite a bit and be friendlier to the environment.
Its certainly not the whole answer to the problem, but its a damn nice start for right now...
