Why is it that many dealers near me don't have many camaros?

Why is it that many dealers near me don't have many camaros?
I live in the suburbs of Chicago. I have been to about 4 different chevy dealers and the moat one had were 2 camaros. May someone help me out?

Demand is greater than supply. If you want your pick from the lot you'll have to wait until all the oustanding orders are filled in.

I've never heard of any dealership having more than 4, and most have just one. You're lucky to find as many as you did!

thanks for the input guys. I finnally saw one being sold at least. apparently that's the closest I will get to buying one.

chicago isnt that far from janesville wisconsin drive to fagan n order one wont have to pay over msrp n they are good to work with

I'm sitting at Glen Campbell Cheverolet in Williamsville, NY right now and there are 6 Camaro's available for sale. 5 LT's and 1 2SS.
