at this thread.
Guys, concepts are just that...a design exercise, if you will. I think it is safe to say that some concepts in the past needed to be pushed because the engine had no internals.
The Camaro Concept was built using many existing parts. Don't expect the production version to do the same...if that is what this is all about.

Re: What's wrong with this picture?
What do you mean by "wrong" engine? Like accidentally, or they fouled up and ruined it?
I think the engine is just for show, just to HAVE something that runs with no kinks.

Re: What's wrong with this picture?
The only thing wrong that I see is the throttle body is inverted so that the motor aligns with the PS pump better visually. Since this is a "dry" assembly, it doesn't matter what side is up.
BTW, the engine in the silver concept runs....I saw / heard it ...and it looks JUST like this.

I don't think I want to know what those engine covers cost GM, damn they look expensive.

Re: What's wrong with this picture?
IF ther is no MAF, which I'm not sure there's a way to conclusively say w/o an in-person inspection, it could be they left it off and went Speed Density out of packaging simplicity for the concept ONLY.
I wouldn't expect that to mean no more MAFs on production cars.

Re: What's wrong with this picture?
The only thing wrong with that motor is. The car it is mounted in is only a concept right now
