The camaro has so much moooooooojo baby, yeah, that they may explode before any photos can be taken

We could just threaten to throw a shoe at him, but who throws a shoe? I mean, honestly?

So Scott, was it a better feeling then that time you took a 3rd gen out for a little public drive before they were released?

Sorta off topic (but on the same note as pre a release car being driven off the tech center grounds) can someone confirm 2, 4th gen prototypes were stolen from the tech center back in the early 90's?
If I remember correctly one was found in Detroit on blocks and the second was never found.

Never heard that one, I would like to know. I do believe that an anti-abuse sort of organization who likes to spread their message in very "direct" ways defaced a few cars on General Motors grounds to make a "statement".

The arabs consider it a big insult to smack someone w/ a shoe. When they pulled Sadam`s statue down they were all beating it with their shoes....

Perhaps that is why Scott was telling us we need to "be there".
On that note is anyone from michigan going? I would like to drive out there in a group with our fbodys and other gm cars.

Scott should bring a black blurry prototype to the summit.

Scott, you're unattached? Don't worry there's more love in cars! Besides, there's nothing better on Valentine's Day than spending it with your car IMHO.

My wife would KILL me if she read this message.

Allrighty, now that this thread has been flushed down the toilet of sexual inuendos, lets see if I can get it back on track.......

Scott, I have some serious questions for you:

If you drove the manual, can you elaborate on the shifter feel? Nice short throws? Is the clutch light enough for fast shifting?

How are the brakes? Pedal feel? Is it easily modulated, linear and firm all the way down? Minimal or zero nose dive?

Steering is my next question..... how's the on center feel? Is it linear with no dead spot on center? Crisp response? Flat cornering (minimal or zero body lean?)

Are both the V6 and V8 going to employ drive by wire (throttle cable-less) technology?

I know there's alot of people who are just gonna buy this car just to shred the rear tires, but I actually like to DRIVE my cars, so any other tidbit about the actual handling and driving dynamics that you experienced would be appreciated.

Okay, now back to "101 Ways to Make Love to Your Camaro"
