So no LSD available for the V6 anymore? That is sort of disappointing considering how much power it has.

Looks like I`ll be getting a 2SS/RS in Imperial Blue with possibly the Cyber gray stripes. I don`t like having to get leather seats either since I`m going to end up in Houston, but whatever.

Did anyone else notice that the only two trim levels with optional stripes are 2LT and 2SS?

so i thought the 20's were standard on the ss? what comes on it if they arent because it didnt say what size the stock wheels were? also there was nothing about power windows ,seats,cd,mp3? did someone just make this up to act like its big info or was this released from gm this way. its a little short.

Clarification on floor mats from Fitz -

Floor mats are not standard on the base model (Camaro LS). They are included in the all the other models.

20s are standard on SS. Power windows are standard, power drivers seat is standard on all except the LS, cd player standard, not sure where the mp3 jack is, but it's got to have one, everything else does now standard.

i noticed that too, i hope its not true.

the v6 needs to have a y87 type package, or include that with the rs, or something.

Keep in mind that they are trying to directly price compete with the "comparable" Mustang. It does not have LSD. That could be the reason...

True. The only problem is I won't be in a position to buy for probably for the first year the Camaro is out. That and I'm kinda waiting to see what happens with a Z/28 model. I just think the sensors for the RPA would really ruin the smooth lines on that sexy @ss end. Maybe GM can find a way to hide them

I believe the MP3 jack is the USB connection in the "Convenience & Connections Package".

I personally wish the USB and Bluetooth connections were separate. I don't use bluetooth for anything and I don't want all that crap on my steering wheel, BUT I do want the USB jack so I can plug in a drive full of mp3's.

Yeah...but you're supposed to be able to pick up stripe packages (hopefully in different colors) from the dealer if you don't want those models.

It's in the center console. Looks like a standard USB jack.

A 2LT/RS is what I'm eying as well. I'd love a 25-26k price range, but I just don't see it coming in that cheap. I'm figuring $27-28. I'd be pleasantly surprised if it were under that.

Those are just the factory installed stripes. There are dealer installed stripes for any model and since the factory ones are vinyl and not painted, it's not like there's going to be a huge quality difference.

I don't particularly trust too many dealership technicians. I'd prefer certain options be installed at the factory.
