There was a lot of chatter when it came on screen. I was shocked because it was a Thursday night and it was mainly kids in attendance. I guess people other then the Camaro nut are really hyped and happy about this car.

The Solstice and the Camaro got a good response here, by people who had NFI what type of cars they are.

I got butterflys in my stomach when I saw the new Camaro come up in the tunnel. Incredable.

Saw it saturday in a packed theatre in Athens, GA. There was no cheering or clapping, but a lot of audible "commotion" when the car came on the screen, the rest of the movie was essentially quiet. My girlfriend was like, "wow, that beautiful, I see why you want one so bad now."

Aside from the whole "camaro" thing, the actual movie was awesome!

I could hear the crowd go wow collectively, but then I was too busy teasing my buddy that I'm going to get one and he's not.

I know I'm mean, but he's planning on getting a rig and calling it prime. He's 30 if anyone's curious...haha

The movie theater went crazy. I heard a lot of ooo's and ahhhs and "thats freakin sweet" and stuff like that. No doubt that the movie theater was the loudest when bubblebee changed into the concept camaro.

The movie never actually said what year it took place did it?

Someone driving a new Camaro down the road could easily be explained when you consider the movie could have simply been set in the year 2009.

And where did that "someone" go when the 2nd gen passed the torch to the 5th gen?

That someone kept driving their car in the other direction.

Maybe I asked the question wrong...

Someone was driving the 5th gen, then the 2nd gen drove by it and "converted" it. Whoever was driving the 5th gen before that was apparently not still in the driver's seat after that. Where did they go, other than just disappeared?
