Top of the line Camaro

Was there some announcement saying that it would be called a Z28? I see a lot of people mention this like it's common knowledge, but I've never seen anything official. Am I out of the loop, or are assumptions just running rampant? I for one don't see GM flip flopping their whole SS lineup. If there IS an SS, I think it'll be the top of the line, just like it is in all of their other models. Perhaps they will use the Z28, and it will be king of the hill, but my guess is that if they do, they won't use SS as well.

There's a good chance that I'm behind the times though, and I missed some sort of news release stating that the Z28 badge was coming back and on top.

Up to now the general concensus has been they will use both. The V8 Camaro in MY2010 will be the SS. Approximately 18 months later, a supercharged V8 Camaro Z28 will be offered. There has been no "official" announcement either way, however this is what has been deduced based on limited information. That can all change though.

Rumor is that if the Fed takes a stand and stops cutting rates, the gas bubble will burst and we'll see prices drop back down to around $80 a barrel.

Moving to the right forum.

Nothing has been made official, but the speculation, debates, and fun-filled arguments will make your brain hurt trying to keep track.

You may want to look at this thread, if you dare...
