I think it may be lighter too. Could be wrong.

Dumb and dumber....It's cute...not logical but Clarkson never is...Funny I guess....So the logical part of me says 106,900 dollars in canada for a new E63.....a loaded 2SS/RS about 50K......4 Door/Vs 2 door....Muscle car VS 4 door Executive express.
It's just a fun video...what the heck....yeah I guess we a little slower on their track...who cares?
Going down to my local MB store to trade my black beauty in.....

Camaro intro was short as well and he made it seem as though the only thing worth mentioning is that it didn't sell as much as the mustang, and even they don't care about that.

Watched the episode. The comparison was a bit ridiculous of course, and the result wasn't completely surprising. Hammond did say he'd rather have the Camaro than the Mercedes in the end. The lap time wasn't all that great. Not terrible but not great.

Yeah, it was kinda dumb that they compared it to an E63.

No matter what though, the ballsiest Camaro available for sale, should have destroyed that German full lux sedan around a road course.

The fact that it didn't even come close, makes me yearn for the 6th gen even more.......

the camino thing is a supercharged version... with more hp than the camaro... it's like their Z28.. of the maloo.... if we had a z28... then it would be fair compariso to the Maloo VXR

Actually the Maloo R8 they tested was not supercharged, it had a naturally aspirated LS3, which was partly why it was slower than the VXR8. And don't forget the Camaro was an L99...
