How many threads are we going to have on this car?

Love the stripes. (Perfect.)
Hate the sail panel. (Too much.)

No such thing as a "berger" panel. Berger did not come up with it, Chevy did. Maybe "Bigblock" panel should be the name to refer to it by.

The stripes could stand to be a little wider IMO.

Well if you're going to go that far and use first gen Camaro terms... from 1967-69 you could not get the satin black Bigblock "SS" tail panel combined with the rally stripes. So from a Camaro-purist standpoint... it is inaccurate, and IMHO, looks hokey.

I think you may be right. Do you guys think they should go wider toward the center, or wider toward the outer edge of the hood, or both?

I'd think someone would want to mess around with photoshoping on some stripes to a non-striped car to verify things (should be fairly easy to do an overlay type thing), but it looks to me like the center spacing is pretty close, so they should be widened on the outer edges. I'm not anywhere where I can work with a photograph, but I'm thinking someone could also pull up some similar angle shots of '69 Camaros as well as the convertible concept car and help to nail these down.

Regardless, they do look a lot better than the factory ones IMHO.

I don't understand why no one can get the stripes right, factory or painters. Someone needs to make a template from the TF Camaro and make the vinyl stripes and a stencil for those that prefer to paint them.

These are so much better than what I've seen from the factory. Did the dealer go though a different supplier? If so, GM should switch to this supplier. It will cause less to "do it themselves" which opens the door to some bad looking jobs. To answere your question Jason, I would make them wider to the center. I would also have the trunk stripes continue down the trunk lid. Don't end them on the edge of the spoiler. Also, they should continue the outline around the end of the stripe like they are done on the hood.

Wider towards the outside would look way better IMO, kind of like this....
