For $16K and your Camaro this company will build you a convert.
Wonder if they will let you keep the old top??

Yea what GM is working on certainly looks a lot more finished and fits better. Not to mention the keeping of the vent window. Anything to cut down on the large blind spots is worth doing.

I wonder if GM would consider doing a convertible hard top.

I think it was Scott I was talking to about that, but anyways they would not do a hard top convertible from the factory because of the additional weight that it would cause, but mostly because of the additional cost for that would sky rocket the retail price. The only chance I would say of seeing a hard top convertible would be aftermarket. Though I don't know about how much space you will have to work with folding up a hard top back there. It might have also been something with the structure on the side body panels and/or the rear area that would not allow for this to happen.

I'm with you though on this, I want a hard top convertible Camaro also!!!

hard top vert would look cool. i am not a fan of convertables at all, but my grandma has a new 335i bmw hard top vert. the thing is nuts. looks really good too. doesnt have as much of a fluent line as the coupe but looks better than a rag top. as far as the camaro having a hard top vert, it could be possible . people dont buy verts for performance normally, so weight shouldnt be an issue. but the hard top technology is getting its way around the automobile industry and it has to be getting done more efficient by now.

Most verts don't look good with the top up.This looks pretty bad.The "boot" covering the top when it's down looks pretty bad also.iIll take my 3 piece plastic "boot" any day over this thing. I think I'll wait.

I thought they looked awesome - especially the ones with a hatch added. To each his own.
