The other cool thing about these pix, it's now becoming more clear how much the new Camaro is narrower than the concept. I know some liked the styling implications of the concept's generous width. I for one actually thought it looked a little unnaturally wide. The prepro pix seem about right for the width of a car like this. This narrowing also portends well for the likely curb weight of the production cars. Narrowing a car has a significant impact on curb weight, due to the huge cross section being cut... yet there is virtually no impact on leg room. I would gladly give up a couple inches of hip room (typically this is more of an issue for the rear seats), to help manage curb weight.
Looking GREAT so far!

Hey there. I'm the friend from the above post. Just got home... lots of pictures.... AND VIDEO!!! I’m going to edit it not and will post by the end of the day. There are 3 Camaros there. One white one (the automatic) and 2 black ones. I followed them around for almost 2 hours. Nothing like going out cruising with the new Camaro. The car I thought was a cobalt was actually a Holden (Lumina body) with the Camaro drive train under it. There is a bunch of electronics on the hood that they said is used for fine tuning the engine. Mass air flow sensors, pressure sensors for each cylinder and air fuel sensors on each pipe of the exhaust manifold. Also they said that the headlights on the cars are not the production ones and that the car is slated to come with 20" wheels on the V8. No pics of the interior because it is not the finished product.

Love this car. Looks wonderful. Coke bottle shape is very pronounced on the side. Did anyone else notice (I'm sure everyone did) the rear diffuser. Is this new or have we been aware of this styling feature before yesterday?

Mustang didn't have a pony on the grille from 1979-1992 (and only the Cobra had one in 1993).

reminds me of the 93-97 Gen
I like how its pointy in the front like my 1997 Camaro and also with the seperate lights. Chunky in the back. Can't wait till its on the road. You guys gotta promise that who ever buys one of these and if the new Mustang is next to you you gotta say Camaro will always be better looking and faster and show them what a camaro does best.
