...how do you rate the current Camaro on your personal approval scale? 10 being cosmic prefectitude and 1 being abysmal disappointment.

(This point of view is from a daily cruiser point of view) I had a V6 Auto 2LT for a weekend. I really loved the car. It was a great cruiser, on the outside it looked amazing, and got a lot of looks despite the car being almost a year old now. I liked the interior as well. The digital MPH read out in the middle is a great convience. The Boston sound system was top notch. It was good on gas too. Performance wise, I was really shocked how quick (not fast) the V6 performed, I mean it was responsive on the gas peddle, and surprisingly the paddle shifters worked pretty darn good as well.
Only real drawback I had with the car, was the visibilty. I presume after a longer time, I would of gotten used to it, but in my weekend with it. I missed parking spots, and had to open the door to see out the rear to get out of the driveway. 9 out of 10.
If only I could get an SS for weekend........

I gave it a 6 which I feel is pretty fair. It was one of the few cars that I was considering selling my GTO for, until I sat it in. I could not sit in a car with that interior day after day. The external looks are amazing though and it handles well for its size. Not a bad car, but it is not for me.
My impression is, no it wouldn't, and Chevy would have two passionate advocates for the car instead of one.
8 - Im a 69 camaro nut. The car captures alot of that but looses a little in the grill which looks a little thick. Also the Bling 20 in wheels I dont like. Id trade them for wider stylish 17 - 19 inch rims. even in the same style.
For me personally, probably yes most likely, just based solely on the fact that youre a 3rd Gen nut and I dont like the 3rd gen aside from the 88 Trans Am and surprisingly your black 3rd Gen. Also while I like the 3 series I think the 1 series is a clown car and I remember you considering that.
never know. You cant convince me though, that if the 5th gen had been a perfect 10 cosmeticly that you wouldnt be talking about weight. I call BS
