Need to rent a car in San Diego, 1st half of April. Who rents Camaro's? Saw that Midway has them but the rate is ~$1300 a week . . . ouch!!
Can anyone help?

Avis has Camaros. Not sure of the price or availability in or around San Diego. It might be worth calling.

I did an online check with all the majors including Budget and Avis and the Camaro was not a choice for any of them in San Diego. Did find a place that gets ~$1300 a week . . . way not worth it.
Checked out a Vette also but nada on that too.
Really hope to find one @ a reasonable rate . . . ~$100 a day would be ok. :mad0259::mad0259:

I get Camaros from AVIS all the time at LAX and DFW while paying the normal daily rate (It is a corporate rate but it is about what they charge for a normal "intermediate" rental). I am sure San Diego has a ton of them as stated by CLEAN.
Here is a tip; sign up for their Preferred program. It is free and makes picking up and dropping off your car much easier. Plus the first time you rent as a preferred member they throw you some perks to butter you up. I got upgraded to the new 5th gen Mustang this way back in 05 when I first started traveling. If they don't give you one automatically, sometimes asking the attendant nicely will go a long way.
