The Z28 shown in MT was said to be drawn from what insiders described the Z28 to look like, or that the artist actually saw the car.
Not sure, will check with that soon.

Im not 100% sold on how Chevy set up this Z28. Id really take a 450hp upgraded SS vs a big supercharged monster like this.

 

Huh? How did they set it up? Ive heard just about everyone suggest it would be a similar set up to the CTS-V motor wise but nothing definitive.


Also I thought the MT rendering came out after the spyshots of Bumblebee so I just assumed they did a rendering from they spyshots and changed the color.

All the pictures of what people feel to be the "z28" just all support the upgrades to bumblebee in the new Transformers movie. In the transformers page on wikipedia, in an interview they said "Bumblebee as becoming stronger after having his severed legs reattached in the first film: the new intakes and spoilers "
