Are we forgettng that it took from the Jan show until just recently for GM to make the decision to ok it? During this time one would conclude that there was some serious number crunching going on and I doubt any board of directors is going to approve anything that didn't show long-term profit in its model. I'm sure there was a case just like this when they rolled out Aztek and SSR too, but what accelerated the approval of this has more to do with long-term brand recognition (which is tought to quantify) and competitor sales models. Will it be a long-term profit? Only time will tell.
