Possible sighting?

Hello All,

A friend of mine is adament that she saw two new Camaros with Z28 badging driving in Jacksonville, FL. last week.

I am just wondering if this is possible? I think she's seeing things!

We saw the Transformers and it was awesome, she said that was the car she saw???

Too soon to see the Camaro no.....

But in Florida with Z28 emblems not likley. Not impossible but very unlikley.

Unless GM was doing a photo shoot or a press deal with one of the show cars or movie cars I would chalk this up as a misidentified car.

Just the fact that she mentioned badging I guarantee you she didn't see a new Camaro mule.

I doubt any of the testing for the Camaro will be done with actual Camaro body panels until GM absolutely has to.

Thanks! I just can't imagine there were 2 Camaros here on the street. I forgot to ask her what color they were, I will when I see her.

Austraila? Maybe.
Florida? Extremely doubtful.
Z/28 badges? HIGHLY unlikely.

She probably saw a new Mustang and/or a Z06 and/or a 1st-gen Z/28 . Actually, I'd go with the last one .

Or the custom job someone did by putting the front and rear ends of a 1969 Camaro onto a 4th gen.

Actually we are in a Mustang club here in town so she knows the Mustangs pretty well

Before you attack me let me say I have a 2004 Cobra UNTIL the Camaro then I will be getting the baddest Camaro available in 2010

I catch a lot of flack of course being a Chevy girl in a Mustang club so I've heard it all believe me

It was fun seeing the Transformers with a bunch of Mustang people, I had fun cheering Bumblebee on!

Anyhow, she obviously has no idea what she is talking about as I first thought!!

As far as I know, all development and testing of the Camaro has been moved to the Holden Division in Australia. Also (unless GM is trying to sneak them to market early, which I doubt) it's too early to see any mules or production cars.
