I'm actually all of these...I plan on keeping it stick for a year or two....then adding simple bolt-ons. And then like 10 years from now I'm gonna do the big crazy mods (supercharger, full suspension etc.)

I'm 23 now...I plan on being the 73 year old who still drives his Camaro to go to the grocery store

Basic stuff at first.
Bolt ons, cam, etc
Gonna wait a year or two to see what the aftermarket come up with.
But eventually gonna do some kind of FI. Procharger, Turbo, built bottom end.

My 4th gen got a bit out of hand and I found myself wishing sometimes it was back to bone stock. So I'm going to leave the new 5th gen. that way at least for awhile.

If I buy one, it will be between a small and decent amount.

Forced induction and necessary support for thus like suspension, drive train, exhaust..

Leaving it at that as long as I can get some nice meats on all 4 corners.

This wont happen until its paid off though at probably 3ish years down the line.

I'll probably just do mufflers, a cai, a tune (mainly to disable tm) and then leave it alone for a while. Maybe gears if you can get them 4.10+ and they're not too expensive.

Bone stock for me "for now".

This car is going to be more than twice as expensive as any car we've ever bought.
So I probably won't be doing any mods till the car is paid off.

My wife said to me when I ordered it, "get everything you want on it now because you won't have money to modify it for a long time".

I'll keep it stock for a while, but will definately do bolt ons leading up to performance upgrades (cam, valvetrain, etc.). Can't wait for STS to come out with a twin turbo system. I have an a-mail in to them, awaiting word back.

The only thing I can think of for sure is a CAI, some high temp black for the mufflers, or aftermarket, and I'm going to do SOMETHING about that XM antenna. And a tint of course.

In what time frame?

If I do I buy one, I'm going to be short on cash to spend on mods for a while and it'll remain stock or mostly stock. Once it's paid off, though...

Just a couple things... Blade spoiler, painted on rally stripes, a bolt-on here or there, K&N filter obviously...

I'm planning to modify my SS a considerable amount.

I'm planning on 500+ RWHP. Based on what we've seen from the LS3 Corvettes, a cam swap, bolt-ons, and a good tune should get me in that range. An upgraded suspension will be a must - not sure who to go with on that, though. Pedders looks like they've got some serious hardware, but I'll wait to see results from other owners first before I take the plunge.

My car will have Sweet Thunder chambered mufflers. I love the way they sound, and with the cam swap and other bolt-ons (longtube headers, etc.), at WOT it will be the soundtrack to the Apocalypse. Children will scream in terror, the sky will rain blood and the earth will split open, and Mustang and Challenger owners will have to check their underwear for skid marks.

As for appearance modifications, my car will have the RS package, ground effects package, blade spoiler, "heritage" grille, and a different Bowtie (black with a red outline, if the aftermarket offers such a thing). I'm undecided on the wheels. I like the RS wheels, but I'd really like a set of 20" replica C6 Z06 wheels (the older style, not the newer ones) or a set of 20" replica C6 ZR1 wheels. Either style would look awesome.

As for the interior, I'll probably be replacing the seats with aftermarket ones that are more supportive during "spirited" driving. I'll also get the auxilliary gauge package - they look cool.

Just looking at the car as it is now I'm thinking. Cold air kit, long tube headers and full exhaust once they are available. The 6M really needs gears so probably 4.10's and maybe some lowering springs as it's sitting up a bit too high. I'd also expect aftermarket shifters will be better so I'd probably swap that out too. We'll see how much fun the car is with those mods before going further.
