I think you are in the ball park. It will be between 3800 and 4000 lbs. Of course no one will like the weight but of the Zeta platform and need to keep the car competitively priced will put it near 4,000.

What model? Are we talking about base model V6? SS? Z28?

IMO, base V6 Camaro with zero options will come in at 3700lbs give or take 75lbs.

they have already said its going to weigh just over 4000 pounds due to all the safety standards and all the airbags
not really....just stirring the pot. the weight will not be an issue

I'm hoping the SS is no more than 3800 lbs. I'm prepared/expecting to be diasappointed though... Hell even 3800 lbs is disappointing...

Im gonna be optimistic and say 3750 for a manual SS.
