That's part of what I (and I'm sure others) worry about. Without the 'chopped' look, this car will not be nearly as interesting.
And, again, if people didn't sit in their Camaro like it's a sedan or SUV, I doubt there would be any problem whatsoever with headroom. It's already been mentioned the seats themselves will be lowered (have you noticed how high they sit?) some. I can't see needing to actually change the roofline if they can lower the seat a couple inches.
I've heard complaints about the 4th Gen Camaro's headroom. I'm 6' and had PLENTY of headroom in my '02.
The more I read of what will 'probably' change on the Camaro, the more I think I'll be looking for something else when I go for a new car. When first introduced they made it out that the vehicle as it was, is very nearly what would/could be put into production (mainly the side mirrors and wheel sizes would change and I hoped the interior), but as time progresses more and more seems to have to be altered.
Concept cars do tend to be toned down when put into actual production, but no other concept (in recent times) has gotten the response/publicity this one has. If they are planning any changes that could possibly alter the car by much at all, they need to stop giving it so much publicity. The public has fallen in love with the look of the Camaro Concept. GM would be wise to keep that in mind. I know I, for one, will pass on a new Camaro if it looks much different than the concept... If they'd brought out an overly retro Camaro I'd have had no interest, if they bring something out that doesn't have the super-strong look/presence of the concept my interest will be non-existant as well.
