So would you put the car on a 120" wheelbase (and end up with full size luxury sedan handling), or just do away with the fuel tank and rear differential / axles / suspension to make room for all that extra rear seat space?

Also, the retractable roof / tailgate thing was done on the GMC Envoy XUV. Not a horrible idea for a utility vehicle, though it added weight, cost, and complexity. Those aren't exactly things you want in a sports coupe.

yup GM they got the patents on that..and Cyberpine..your a few years to late to the idea. May I present to you the 2000 Pontiac Piranha Concept. coupled with the Envoy's sliding roof this is not something you can patent.
