Nice to see early aftermarket interest, but it seems kind of pointless at this stage of the game.

Not really....R&D for the aftermarket needs a little time to get it right.

I've already asked for a rear clip myself....

Remember that the Australian market already has a high-performance Zeta for sale, and Pedders has developed parts for it. From their standpoint, the North American Zetas are a huge new market for products they've already started developing. Makes sense for them to be introducing themselves to US enthusiasts now.

and let's not forget how many aftermarket companies had products for the new Mustang before it even came out. I hope the Camaro has the same amount of support.

I lived in Detroit in 2000 to 2001. One of my neighbors was a Rustang engineer. According to him they were told early and often to make the current car as friendly to the aftermarket as possible. He was told that aftermarket support would be critical to the success of the car, and so everything he designed needed to take that into account, if possible. He said that not everything could be that way, but they did try. According to him that's what drove the solid rear-axle decision.

I don't know if he was telling me the truth, but that's what he told me. Take it for what it's worth.

I'd believe that, it makes sense to me.

Cool stuff seeing the suspension as well.

Blast from the past. I was looking for a post I had made on one of the Camaro forums. I didn't find the post, but I did find this old thread. Much has changed since the last post. One thing is the same. I am still waiting for delivery of my 2010 Camaro!
