?? on the "optional interior lighting package"

Does that mean the ambient lighting that comes on the 2SS package or is there some interior lighting option in addition to the ambient?

That is reffering to the included ambient lighting in the 2SS package. I really would like to know what the upgraded footwell lighting is all about that was mentioned in the '09 GMPP catalog!

I hope we can get all this information before its too late to make changes or additions to our orders. I ordered the 2SS/RS and can't find out anything on the optional lighting that has been referred to. The dealer does'nt know any more than we do about it.

I think they are talking about changing colors on the interior lighting.

The "other site" has mentioned that the optional interior lighting might not be ready for production and thats why there is no code listing for it etc.
So now I'm back to being confused again

optional interior lighting should be refering to the different upgrade options you have in color. but i dont even know what color options are available. i think yellow and orange. they apparently cancelled red. and blue is the stock color. hopefully for the 2010 year, they bring red to the table for the lighting. if they do ill just have to wait for it.

It is kind of weird why we have never heard about this and then all of a sudden it shows up in the GMPP brochure! Maybe Jason or Scott can give us some more information about this.

Ok, once and for all...

IF YOU GET LEATHER (1LT/2SS) you get ambient lighting in blue. ADDITIONALLY, you can order the inferno orange interior package and in that case, the ambient lighting is switched from blue to orange.

That doesn't answer the original question.....is the "optional interior lighting" the ambient lighting? Or is there an optional interior lighting in addition to the ambient lighting?

Sorry to be redundant, but I ask because of this previous post:

Jeez...we're ordering $40,000 cars here and dont even have an explanation of the manufacturers vague descriptions of features/options. We are ordering interior colors without even knowing what they look like. We really do need some additional information on these issues. I realize most of GM offices are shut down now and the Camaro offices on the 23rd floor of the RenCen are closed with the lights out. So obviously we cannot get answers until after the holidays. But these are questions that the staff should put on their list to clarify for the buyers since we're all paying MSRP with no discounts and the time frame for changing our orders is getting shorter.

This is the actual paragraph from the brochure...
