Humm...thats weird. It worked when I first did it. I would just attach the image in the post, but I'm apparently not allowed to do that. Do I have to PM a moderator to be able to post attachments?

Just throwing this out there...

Since the CamaroZ28.Com de-cast car (see other forum) went so well, I was kicking around potential designs for another version a couple of months ago, and the "Sunoco style" was one of the first that I thought of. Then this thread came along and I have been watching the replies. It does look good on a 5th gen, doesn't it?

Nice work, Doug!

Ok, should be good to go now! If anyone wants a larger version, let me know and I can email it to you.

One comment. The original Sunoco Camaros never had those fender stripes.

It didn't have an LS3, ground effects, flared fenders, etc.... either....

I took "artistic" liberties........it is a 2009 afterall...

You should finish it.

Nice work Doug and donot (I agree finish it) reminds me of my days on GM's Unigraphics. All it takes is time and attention to detail.

you seem to be having an issue with the crease at the top of the quarters. also the proportions seem a bit off.
One thing Ive found to be helpful in modeling cars is to have a good set of straight on reference shots. that way you can make sure that width is in check with length, and that all of the key points are where they need to be.
Solid start, though.

It may not have had those things, but you made it fit the design in my opinion.

Thats the style of the 60s cars I like that most todays cars lack.

I would have rather seen "Z/28" stripes in the same Sunoco yellow.
