The article in the NYTimes Business section today hinted that a vote would be held today at the Board of Directors meeting on whether to build the Camaro.

Any truth / Word of this on the street?

To hell with the slimes. The only thing I want to know about the slimes is when they will be charged with treason! I wouldn't wipe my keyster with that garbage. Cat box liner......yeah, that's about all its good for, but only if someone gives it to me, cuz I wouldn't spend a single dime of my hard earned $$$ on it.

 

 

It's about time people wake up, and smell the putrid freaking stench that is permeating all around us, in this country. People are smilling in our faces and chopping our heads off as soon as we turn around. GM has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I CANNOT say enough how sick this whole thing is making me. I have not uttered the words general motors in days (besides on here), and believe me this is highly unusual. I espouse the virtues of the general on a daily basis, and I have friends who believe it or not, actually listen to me and am influenced by my words. Influenced to buy gm! Just image what I could do if I actually had an outlet, like these scum sucking pigs at the slimes. You can bet your asses I wouldn't use it against my country like they have been doing. I pray somehow this does not go through, as I cannot, and will not send $$$ to the french period. Believe me, I am NOT the only loyal GM fan sickened by this disgusting turn of events. I hope this greedy bastard keels over tonight in a painful heart attack. SOB! Yeah I'm just a little pissed. Just a little story. My job was in need of a new work van. Now normally I would be in high gear to get them into a GM. They bought a ford.......I didn't even try!

 

Well, I didnt by the paper, the doctors where I work get it regularly, and I noticed the article and read it.

I dont really think this whole merger thing is good...

I wonder if it is / will effect the future of the camaro....

I hear ya. I read the trash that is put out at the doctors office too. And the slimes aren't the only ones shiving US in the back either, the list is long. I can't even pick up rolling bone (roll another one a-holes) anymore. It's supposed to be about music, but really its filled with garbage, slime magazine is no different. All you get is constant America sucks, our cars suck, and we're gay ******* cowboys from every angle, its no wonder people are clueless to the dangers that we are facing. And those who claim to be our friends are just hovering like freaking vultures just waiting for us to fall. Wake up knuckleheads. I am sickened! I want one real bad, but if one red sent is gonna go to you know who, its a. You know I'm not even gonna say what I'll build, cuz my luck, some rich jerk off will come in and **** that up too.

May I suggest that you take a deep breath and just calm down a bit.
It appears as you've got 2 or 3 rants going on here.
And this is a forum for the Camaro. Let's keep it on track.

I know Chris and Jason like to keep political stuff out of these forums.

As for the proposed merger, we all hope it doesn't go thru. I think Wagoner will do whatever he can to fight it. However, we should be ever cognizant of the fact that hostile takeovers do occur in the business world. But that would be premature at this time. So let's just relax and watch this play out a bit. There'll be plenty of time for anger at a later date.

 

I don't get the new york times . . . so please fill us in on whats going down in china town.

What he's saying is that the NYT (and other US media outlets), are attempting to purposely undermine the security of the United States, (by publishing top secret programs and methods) - and in fact facilitate our enemies, as they try to kill Americans - simply because they hate the current American administration, IMO.

 

Always enjoy your posts, but this one is just a bit over the top IMO. Hate the administration-very possible; try to help the enemy kill or guys-no way. We should spend A LOT less time vilifying each other, no matter what side of the political spectrum we're on. I lost an uncle in war, he was a great guy, ENLISTED to fight for his country, and was a liberal democrat. You can bet also that there are more than a few liberal guys and girls fighting for your freedom in Iraq and Afganistan.
This administration has been better at turning us against ourselves than any in my memory. Don't fall into the trap. We are ALL Americans. Just MO.

Article about Camaro appeared in a newspaper that apparently spends its spare time revealing classified government programs directly tied to national security.

Discussion probably doesnt belong here, but I wouldnt even line catboxes with the New York Times anymore. And I hate cats.
