NewYork Auto Show
NewYork Auto Show
Hello,
I keep looking for ANY information about the Camaro being at the NY Auto show next month but can't find anything. Am I simply not looking in the right place. I assume being a big show that it will have at least one of them (Please be bumblebee!!). Can anyone shed any light on this. I have yet to see the car in person and this would be my one chance to see it before it comes out.
Anyone.....Anyone.....bueller.....fbodfather....?? ??
And I did check the schedule posted here.....
Thanks!!

Bumblebee is going to be in Ft. Lauderdale at that time. It was also at the Miami show so Ill get to see it twice in 4 months

Bumblebee was near NYC back in October. Unfortunately none of the concepts will be at the NY show.

How the heck could they not showcase at least one at the NY Auto Show??
Don't forget they have 3 Bumblebee's and the other concepts.
It would be hard to image GM NOT having a concept there.....

Given that, I don't know why it not showing up there for a 3rd year straight is a huge deal.
Isn't a 3rd year followed by a 4th pretty much the textbook definition of "Overkill" ??

Camaro's been at New York for 2 years straight, and the car will be on the streets in less than a year. Camaro is the only "concept" I've ever heard that's done 2 auto show seasons in a row, and will make yet another appearence in production form next year.

Yeah, I guess. Not really a big deal. I just figured it's a huge show...they'd have something there. I saw the silver concept there 2 years back (and was in aw). If Bumblebee was going to be there, I'd go again this year.
Even in Detroit , you could tell they werent trying to make the Bumblebee concept a focal point . It was quitely tucked off to the very end in a corner of a pretty large display that included the Opel Corsa VXR and the Theata Cadillac .

Well that sucks.
Overkill or not...not having the Camaro in a high volume Camaro area (NY/NJ) not to mention an area that has LOST out a lot to foriegn makes, needs to have high image cars there, especially one like Camaro.
Oh well, cant have the car everywhere. I guess that means that Ill have to just drool over the ZR1 this year...

Agree. I can understand not showing the original concept camaro anymore since it's a couple years old now but they should bring the Bumblebee to NY.
