The inference was done by the reader by interpreting the authors words as the implication. But heck, I'm an engineer so WTF do I know about good grammar anyway.

IMO, it's unreasonable to be that upset (referring to posts 3 and 7 -- and yes, I know that wasn't you) with an author based on an inference.

The author did not say that the LS7 is a big block. It's easy to infer that he meant that, but without conferring further with the author, it's impossible to know whether the author implied it.

I'm assuming that nobody here has spoken with the author on this topic, and based on that I'm saying that we can't (and shouldn't) conclude that the author has made any mistake.

Regardless, who cares whether he thinks it's a big block?
