(To Scott) I was looking around Chevy Nation, and really liked how it said they'd be adding never before seen pictures and such. Can you ask them to put up pictures and drawings that lead to the 4th gen Camaro? I'm not talking Pontiac Banshee or California Camaro concept pics either. I want to see design drawings and design studies like the Tomcat.

It'd be GREAT to finally see some of this stuff, as it has never been on the internet.

Great pic. So much influence on the 4th Gen cars. But it looks soo much like an Intrepid in the nose. Glad they scrapped that idea and made the nose look more Camaro'ish aka 3rd gen but smoothed out.

If you like that, make sure to check out the rest of my gallery on webshots. I have all the stuff I could scare up regarding 4th gen design in a gallery there. I gotta see more though! Come on Scott! Use your superpowers and get some people to dig out those old design drawings and photographs!

Well maybe I shouldn't tell ya this. I used to work at GM Design Staff and in my department begin next to a photo lab and the aero team we had lots of those pictures you have on your site. Except they were the origionals and there were stacks of them laying around. Not just pictures but mounted and placed on thicker foam backing boards. Myself and many co-workers used them as cubicle decorations and the occasional rubber band fight shield! We knew they were probably valuable but there were soo many and easy to get to. And they like most things could never leave GM property.

And... that is why all rubber band fights should be documented in high resolution photography . You don't have any copies of them to post?

I wish my friend. But photo equipement of any kind was banned from inside most areas of that building. You could even be fired and escorted out on the spot if found even lifting a cover off a clay model.

And if you have ever been in a rubber band fight with drafting people you'll know why some cover was needed.

Ya know I do remeber that too. Those paper clip catapults are darn right lethal almost like a paint ball hit! Good times. We had those stucko looking celing tiles and you gould easily get sharp pencils to stick in with the right shot. We we're lucky to be in the basement and not in view of the "suits" upstairs in the studios.

Only thing thats new that I have found was the heritage doors now lead inside with a Z/28 on a pedestal, your options inside are a heritage center video and the brochures for the camaro and corvettes..

I was checking the Chevy Nation site all day too hoping to find something since Scott said not to miss the November update. My wife was starting to get mad because I was on the computer like every couple of hours today? I thought I might have read it wrong about the 1st thursday of every month.
