Earlier this evening at the GM Style event held in a big tent next to their Renaissance Center headquarters, they publicly unveiled the new Camaro Convertible concept. It's basically a metallic orange open top version of the coupe they showed last year. More details will be coming tomorrow but we've got a gallery of high res images that you can see and download by clicking the image above.

I absolutely HATED the flangeless wheels on the coupe last year . These vert wheels though are almost PERFECTION , a chip off the old 85-87 Iroc wheels shoulder

 

The new wheels ARE really sweet, but the whole thing overall is just absolutely freaking awesome IMO. I love how the spokes match the stripes! The design does seem to bring out the subtle 3rd gen Camaro style, hidden in the 5th gens sheetmetal.

 

Man I just love that front facia, it just looks mean! That color combo is what I had in mind.

The wheels could use a little more lip, but wheels can easily be changed.

How about some pictures with the top up?!

Overall, awesome looking. I'll take my convert with a 427 and any badges you want to put on it GM!

I agree. The coupe concept is killer but the colors of this convert concept really make the car a CAMARO. If GM makes the stripes optional I think they will be on to something. Very Z/28'ish... daddy likes!

I can see a little more 3rd gen in the vert. That influence stands out a little more in this one over the coupe.
