New Video

This is a video I took at NAIAS. It's the closest reproduction of "being there in person" I've seen. It shows one full rotation of the concept on its turntable. Well, OK, about 340 degrees of rotation... I stopped too early. It's close up, 640x480 @ 30fps. There is a fair bit of lens flare -- not much I can do about it under show lights. I was too close to get the whole car in profile.

I would have posted this on the Video site, but they have a 150MB limit. Unfortunately, this is a 165MB AVI file. Download at your own risk! If someone wants to download and convert it to a smaller format, feel free. I recommend the Right-Click-Save-As approach, since this format doesn't stream.

On a side note, I am loving my new Canon PowerShot SD550.

I don't really use the site for anything. If I run out of bandwidth, I don't really care!

I do have iMovie, but the whole point of this video is to keep the high quality so that people get a chance to see it.

Maybe I can get Chris and Jason to let me post it on the video site even though it's oversize?

Re: New Video

Okay, I'm looking into converting this with iMovie. I'm thinking I might just be able to strip off the audio and get it under 150 without losing any video quality!

Re: New Video

I'm not sure the video site can take AVIs....OK it has to because I uploaded one to mine and I use the same video hosting Chris and Jason do here.

I'd take it for LS1LT1.com but I'm pretty darn sure a 163mb file is going to be over the size limit, LOL.

Re: New Video

Here is the version I uploaded to the CZ28 video site. The quality isn't nearly as good.

AFAIK, I haven't had any bandwidth issues so far. I'd stick with the original video.
