New options?

I just came across this on Chevy's website when playing around with the "build your own" feature for the Camaro. Not sure if anyone else saw this but I found this interesting, especially the "cooled seats" option. I know we have been hearing for a while now that heads-up would eventually be an option but the other is kind of surprising!

Click on the "interior" tab and scroll to the very bottom of this list to see the listed options. They still say "not available", but I would assume that would change and be part of the '10 model year.

HUD has been promised for quite awhile. The story we heard was there was a problem with the vendor and it wouldn't be available until Decemeber. Perhaps they'll all get packaged in with the special edition Synergy Green Camaro in January.

If they can get HUD, ABL across the dash and the "Dusk" interior color I'll be making a trip to the Chevy dealer early next year.

Waiting in anticipation. If only there would be an in-dash nav system beyond Onstar turn by turn, even if it's a pop-up system, that would be the icing on the cake. Cooled seats is a nice surprise. Not sure why I'd want heated seats especially if my car will never see a cold winter's day.

They need to hurry up with the 3.73 gears option.

I have seen it on some Cadillac's and Buicks. They all had leather seats, and they blew cold air up through the little holes in the seat. The cold air blew into the seats through an AC duct that ran down the center console from the dash to the seat.

In the summer, when you get in your car and it is 120 degrees, nothing beats the seat coolers! I am glad to see GM spreading this to other models, because it is the kind of thing that would get me off the fence and buying.

One down (seat cooler) and one to go (in dash Nav). Didn't we get news that NAV was coming?

I agree. I have heated/cooled on my Traverse LTZ. The cooled seats are awesome! I knew I would like them but realized how much that I would like them. They are great for hot summers in the south. You can even turn them on without the A/C actually being on. Great feature and I feel a must feature to have with leather seats. I even love the heated seats for those chilly nights without even having to turn the actual heat on.

I never heard that there would ever be a NAV option in the Camaro. But I did see something last night in Car & Driver. This is a pretty cool option if you want NAV/bluetooth/back-up camera.

Right now I am missing my Heated Leather seats that I had on my Impala but in the summer I would love to have the cooled seats.

I'm not a big navi fan - in muscle cars anyway. However, this would work very well with GM's super-duper rearview mirrors. I'd probably opt-in if it were a factory option.

It looks like it is not available yet. They show three options in there - HUD, Cooled Driver Seat, and Cooled Passenger Seat. It says "Not Available" for all the models listed though. Maybe they are for 2011?
