It was in a thread I started with a poll. I mentioned it changed and was asking did anyone think it should be an option as an appearance package across the board in the 5th gen. I interpereted his comment to mean he was simply correcting my misinformation that it has been anything but an appearnce package in its history. Couldnt find it though which is stange. There are only two pages of threads Ive started and its not listed in them. Maybe the threads too old? I hate not being able to find it because if Im misquoting thats my fault...

The leaked 3rd gen looking version of the 5th gen with the different grille Im assuming COULD possibly be an RS package. That coupled with the quote I couldnt find I just took the leap that that could POSSIBLY be something that might be considered as an RS package. If not maybe something along those lines.

Im stressing my pure speculation not sarcasm

That PHR concept is what the 5th Gen should look like, I still wish that! (and that 68 RS was sooooo nice) Alot of info in that post is now obsolete, but regardless of what he says, from 89-92 it was definetly a model and not a selectable appearance option.

You could get a base V8 for low mid 20's... My 98 WS6 was just over 30k loaded.

msrp for the 02 ws6 fully loaded was like 32k but if it was a convertable than i believe it was like 36.5k or close.....8 years have passed (well when the new camaro is supposed to release) so it seems prettty normal the price went up a few thousand...
