I don't think thats IOM, it looks more like Hugger Orange, the color I wish we were getting. IOM is VERY red looking, I don't think even the lighting could make that much of a difference. I hope I'm wrong, but don't think I am. Look at the cutout in the hood insulation, that is in the dark and it still looks like Hugger Orange.

I'm confused by the color too. Those outdoor pics look red but these pics look like a very vivid orange. Too bright to be hugger which I think is darker/more rustic.

If that's the inferno metallic then its now back in my favor, but it's been said before and will be said again. "wait til you see it in person."

 

I'd bet on IOM as why would they paint what is essentially a show car a non production color.

 

I sure hope its IOM cause thats what I ordered. But it sure looks like a special color....possibly along the lines of a "candy" with a special tintcoat over a metallic base. Surely somebody out there knows, we just have to make contact with the right person.

Well it would just make sense that the color is IOM as what orange would GM paint a 2010 Camaro going out for show this close to production.

I think the discrepancy between the cut-a-way pics and those outside of IOM Camaros is the lighting. Auto show type lighting always makes even colors like white more vivid and bright than say light bulb type light or sunlight. So the good news is that is IOM but the bad news is it won't look that orange unless under very certain lighting conditions.

 

This s*x I gotta admit. I've now seen 3-4 different camaros claimed to be IOM and each one looks completely different color. So I've ordered a color that I'm not even sure what it looks like.

 

looks kinda like the paint on my truck. My paint code is WA9419.

By the way, if anybody knows anything about this color, please pass it along to me. There is almost nothing on it online.
