Re: My Camaro ZL1 has arrived!!

Does the ZL1 exhaust work like the corvette?? In the corvettes, you can pull a fuse so the flaps are open all the time, or you can install a remote switch so you can select when you want them open.

Yes, I believe so. The exhaust is wide open at idle.

Ah Scott you are spot on with the Hamburgers!!

Yea Chris and Jason have poured their lives into this for no other reason than the passion!! Seems like a short time ago I was reading the blog about being "violated" and lusting over the Enkie rims on that 4th gen!

I'm proud he got a ZL1!
I'm proud their site is what it is!
I'm glad to be a member for what, 13 years now?
Proud to have owned 2 cars made by the best brand manager!
Glad we can represent the Camaro community in NMCA Super Street 10.5W
and was delighted to meet ya Scott in Atlanta in 2006 along with that "special guest"

Looks great. I like the look of the ZL1 in black much better than any other Camaro.

All depends on how much you make at construction. If you make the same amount as someone washing dishes at Waltz On Inn on Main Street, probably a long, long time.

(I used to eat lunch at Waltz On Inn in Portland. Is it still there?)

Yes its still there and my dad said that if I worked full time as a labor, I could pay it off within a year cause my workers make around $1000 to $1500, and if i saved up for 2 years id have enough for a ZL1 which would be awsome

I dunno man...it is good to have goals and all, but that is a lot of work for a long time to save a lot of money for a lot of car. If it is worth it to you, rock on bro!

Chris, I think we should talk about this in an upcoming Podcast. Everyone else, stay tuned to the Podcast forum for a future episode where we talk about more about this and give our thoughts.

Dont forget you would have insurance, fuel, tires(very expensive and dont last long), oil changes, and any other maintenance when it is out of warranty.
